To Whom It May Concern:

At Academia we strive to craft furniture that is pleasing to both the consumer and the environment.  Whenever possible, we use reclaimed materials for use in our products.  Hard plastic seating and desktops are made from 100% recycled hardwood.  Packaging material is made from post consumer content.

Our production facility uses modern energy efficient machinery.  Work areas are clean and well lit using high efficiency fluorescent lighting.  A new high efficiency clean burning natural gas heating was installed for this winter.

Wast byproducts are separated by type and sent out for recycling.

At Academia Furniture Industries, we are committed to making the world a better place for the students today and generations to come.
